Dear Parents,

Oh, when the saints come marching in! Yes, that is how it will be on Thursday, October 25th.

The First Graders will dress up as their favorite saints. The day of the service, your child may come to school wearing the basic part of the costume, i.e., green pants, blue shirt, etc. Most importantly for safety, please do NOT have your child wear a long robe or gown to school.  The eighth graders will come beforehand to assist your child with draping of robes, gowns, and accessories of his/her costume. Please have all robes, gowns, accessories in a bag labeled with your child’s name. They may bring the bag in ahead of time.

Parents and grandparents are asked to refrain from coming to the classroom before the service. The ALL SAINTS PRAYER SERVICE will be at 1:30 PM in our St. James Church. We will meet you there.

In preparation for this day, please help your child in preparing and reciting “FOUR sentences” about their favorite saint. The first three sentences should tell about the saint. The last sentence should tell about how your child can be more like his/her saint. They may put the 4 sentences on a paper or index card.

DUE DATES by:

  • Name of Saint – Friday, September 28, 2018
  • 4 Sentences on index cards – Thursday, October 11, 2018
  • Saint Costumes – Thursday, October 18, 2018

Thank you and God bless.

Respectfully,

Miss Snydstrup
