There will be a new face in the St. James School Library this fall, as Sister Patricia Healey, IHM, starts as our school’s new librarian. Sister Patricia is from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, and attended Catholic schools from kindergarten through high school. After joining the IHM community Sr. Patricia earned a bachelor’s degree from Immaculata University, a master’s degree from Temple University and did post-graduate studies in administration at both Villanova University and the University of Georgia. Sister Patricia has served in a variety of positions, including “teacher, administrator, and supervisor of classroom instruction.” She has also been “part of a team responsible for co-authoring an English Language Arts textbook.” As our new Librarian, Sister Patricia “hopes to instill in our students a love of reading.” When you see Sister Patricia this fall, be sure to give her a big St. James welcome!
